1. What is the attendance cycle followed in the company?

The attendance cycle is from 26th of the previous month to 25th of the current month.

2. What is the payroll cycle?

The payroll cycle is calculated from 1st to 30th/31st of every month.

3. How do I apply for attendance regularization?

You can apply for regularization through Zoho People by following these steps:

  • Go to Attendance → Regularization
  • Select the required date
  • Enter the correct check-in and check-out details
  • Submit the request for approval

Note: Regularization must be applied for the entire day, not just for missed hours.

4. How many attendance regularizations are allowed per month?

Employees are allowed up to 3 attendance regularizations per month.

5. What is the monthly permission allowance?

Employees can avail up to 2 hours of permission per month.

6. What is the maximum Earned Leave (EL) that can be carried forward?
Employees can carry forward a maximum of 30 days of Earned Leave (EL). Any balance exceeding 30 days will lapse.

7. How many Earned Leave (EL) accrued per month?

Earned Leave (EL) is credited at 0.5 days per month.

8. How many Casual Leave (CL) accrued?

Casual Leave (CL) is provided at 1.5 days per quarter.

9. How many Sick Leave (SL) accrued per month?

Sick Leave (SL) is credited at 1 day per month.

10. How many Wellness Leave is eligible for an employee?

Employees are eligible for 1 day of Wellness Leave (WL) per year.

Where should I apply for attendance regularization, on-duty, leave, and permissions?

11. You can submit your requests through Zoho People using the following paths:

  • Attendance Regularization / On-Duty / Hourly Permissions:
    Go to Attendance → Regularization / On-Duty / Hourly Permissions and submit your request.
  • Leave Requests:
    Go to Leave Tracker → Add Request to apply for leave.

12. How many days of Maternity Leave are provided?
 Employees are eligible for 180 days of Maternity Leave.

13. How many days of Paternity Leave are provided?
Employees are eligible for 3 days of Paternity Leave.

14.How many days of Marriage Leave are provided?
Employees are eligible for 3 days of Marriage Leave

15. How many days of Bereavement Leave are provided?
Employees are eligible for 2 days of Bereavement Leave.

16.Where can we check the check-in and check-out process?

You can view the check-in and check-out details in Zoho People by following the below steps:

  • Go to Reports
  • Select Present and Absent Status
  • Choose the required date range
  • Enable/choose the Hours option to view check-in and check-out timings

17. What is the maximum Sick Leave (SL) that can be carried forward?
Employees can carry forward a maximum of 9 days of Sick Leave (SL). Any balance exceeding 9 days will lapse.

18. When can I request Comp Off?

 You can request Comp Off only when you have completed eligible work hours on:

  • A weekly off day
  • A declared holiday
  • Extended hours approved by your Manager

19. Where can I find the Holiday List?

You can view the Holiday List in Zoho People by following the path:
Leave Tracker → Holiday → Holiday List

20. What are the standard working hours?

The standard working hours are as follows:

  • Full Day: 8 hours
  • Half Day: 4 hours
